When she lived with her mother, Desiree, she was loved and cared for. But during visits to her father, David Bridgeman, and stepmother, Janna, her reality turned dark and cruel. Police discovered that Jersey had been forced to sleep on the floor and was tied to a closet with a silver cord — the kind used as a dog leash.
